First Australians Capital and Amber Days: driving the triple bottom line
By providing access to capital and wrap-around support to Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs, First Australians Capital is driving a new economy that realises the full potential of our creative and cultural capital as a Nation.
Ethical children’s wear label Amber Days, focuses on clothes made using organic fabrics, non-toxic dyes. They partner with designers and producers that champion ethical and sustainable practice and are challenging the full length of the fashion industry supply chain, continually searching to identify people and businesses that serve the triple bottom line and bring about far reaching economic impact.
Amber Days seeks to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, refugee and migrant women, in the understanding that by supporting women and Fairtrade practice, they help activate a greater future, driving rich impact deep into our communities.
First Australians Capital has proudly supported Amber Days, providing access to capital, as well as marketing, business planning and capacity building support; in particular, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when all businesses were demanded to swiftly and robustly adjust.
“FAC have been an incredible support and we would not have been able to scale to reach the demand without FAC’s generous support and incredible team with extensive knowledge” -Corina Muir, Founder, Amber Days
We are thrilled to see Amber Days now being sold through “The Iconic”, a leading Australian online fashion and lifestyle destination, and we continue to work with investors, supporters, Indigenous business, entrepreneurs and professionals to take active steps toward unlocking a future empowered by the unlimited potential of Indigenous Australians.
